dinner was deliriously fun.. not in the laugh out loud gossip make noise way but more of a quiet contented warm fuzzy sort of way. heh. for documentation sake i decided it was important to blog about it so yup, this entry is for more for my sake than anything else.
well anyway today was my full-fledged immersion into the Chinese culture. ok fine im being dramatic, we just had dim sum. but yea this is one thing I've never done before even though most of the time the family goes out we always have Chinese or seafood..honestly i actually think I've been to a hell lot more Chinese restaurants in my life than to Indian ones. amusing isn't it. but we never ever had dim sum cuz well according to brother dearest anything "without rice" is not food and yes he must be accommodated.
hmm oh yes the point was that b.el de.b ruo.qi me went to eat dim sum and **** noodles at -wait for it- GEYL.ANG! (a gasp would be appropriate here) though it was actually really very good and cheap for the amount we stuffed ourselves with. and we gave roy her prezzie which i thought was mighty pretty and oh so us. 1+2+3+4+5+ 3 of us = 18!! err ya its a girl sentimental thing. i baked too! 3 muffins actually, bought the rest cuz well hmm disastrous story not to mentioned here.. oh yes we even had bean curd after that. yay "good food and good company" shit that seems so cliche but is really very true.
had a really good time. i think the 4 of us have come a long way, from our bubbly retard days in sec 1/2 (yes we still have them but not as perpetually) to the times we have now. its perhaps not as loud or jovial per se but that has sort of been replaced by a warmth and sense of familiarity. of understanding and knowing each other, the good parts and the bad parts and accepting that. heh how profound. Harry potter world together yea im blogging this so we wont forget!
and as fun as today was we have no pictures cuz contrary to popular belief, we..err fine.i..are not really cam whores! (oookkk i spoilt the cam and have hence been banned from taking it out so there.) but i figured i could post up other pictures since im feeling all nice inside. oh wait i have surprisingly few pictures of the four of us..blame roy la for not taking in chaingmai! and de.b and be.l for not going to france. and de.b especially for taking all other photos but never giving them to anyone else! hmm. oh well lets mix and match then.
